C4C Collect & Connect

Chicago families who have recently moved to permanent housing need help furnishing their new apartments. To support them while they get on their feet, C4C is establishing a “Collect & Connect” furniture delivery service.

Our Collect & Connect service will take large furniture items from our wonderful donors for a small fee and connect them to the refugees who need them at no cost to the family.

Transportation of large furniture donations can be expensive, labor intensive and logistically complex with rapid response times required.

When the Collect & Connect program is up and running, it will provide a delivery truck & driver and labor resource to move furniture around the city. 

Pick up donation fees from our donors will only cover a small portion of the ongoing program running costs, so our fundraising campaign is now live as we raise money to fund all elements of the service. 

Money raised through our Collect & Connect campaign will cover costs associated with buying a truck, hiring drivers and movers.
