FAQ

What to bring

First, make sure to check in with PSRT leadership to check current numbers at the station. Make sure to bring enough food for ALL. Assume at least 100 - 180 people.

Contact for District 15 - Jarvis - jarvis@jarvisdraymond.com

Meal must be split to TWO drop off areas. When you contact leadership, ask how many people are at each location.

Please be as generous as possible with serving amount. Food shortage causes tension and anxiety.

Don’t forget to supply for kids. Info found HERE

What not to bring

Do not supply spicy food. Do not supply overly sweet (donuts) No cheerios or oatmeal packets.

Do not bring food if it’s not enough for everyone. Small portions can cause tension and inequitable service.

Do not bring food that needs to be warmed or kept refrigerated. All food must be ready to eat when it arrives.

Do not bring dishes, serving trays, utensils you’ll need back or that need to be cleaned. We do not have a way to clean dishes at the station. Saving dishes can be very difficult.

Area 1: A table is located outside the station under a tent. When you arrive, park at the curb in front of the station.

Set the food on the table outside. Do not check in with police or staff inside the station. They would prefer we stay outside.

Area 2: Across the street from the police station in the parking lot. A table is located under the large tent. When you arrive, park in the parking lot. Set food out on the table under the tent.

When leaving food at each location, do your best to encourage them to allow everyone one serving before taking more
